Challenge– Assist Hilton Group to develop new Scandic by Hilton Franchised product Brand including Briefing and Standards Documentation

Solution– Develop and agree a financial appraisal programme to drive the focus of the product and development criteria and assist in implementing the same.
Methodology
- Design and build a financial appraisal programme
- Agree product and operational revenue criteria
- Agree development assumptions and capital costs
- Agree R. o. I. and other financial criteria
- Assimilate client business criteria including Brand Profile, Sales & Marketing, Operations, IT, Distribution, Purchasing and other requirements
- Develop design brief document including space standards
- Co-ordinate design team development work
- Manage project reviews and reporting meetings
- Agree final documentation content with client team
- Collate project Brand, Design and Operational information and write Standards Manuals
- Co-ordinate production of all product and brand standards into information pack formats.
Summary - The results of the financial appraisals for both the new build and conversion models of a typical Scandic by Hilton developed by HLC were utilised as one of the main drivers in the design development of this new product. The design concept and detail developed by the project team were vigorously tested for their efficiencies in terms of operational, quality standards, consumer appeal, construction time and cost performance to ensure that the stipulated briefing requirements could be satisfied. The requisite product standards, designs and specifications were then compiled into a set of Franchise Product Standard Manuals formatted to facilitate easy, consistent and effective implementation by Scandic by Hilton partners.
